Lancelottie was a curious and adventurous young girl who loved exploring the world around her. One day, she was exploring a dark and mysterious forest when she encountered three spooky creatures.
The first creature was a giant spider with eight long legs and sharp fangs. Lancelottie had never seen anything like it before. She was scared, but she didn't let her fear get the best of her. She quickly thought of a plan.
Lancelottie pretended to be a spider, too. She started to crawl and spin a web. The giant spider was so surprised to see another spider that it forgot all about Lancelottie. It turned and ran away.
The second creature was a ghost with a long white sheet and glowing red eyes. Lancelottie had never seen a ghost before, either. She was scared again, but she didn't let her fear get the best of her.
Lancelottie pretended to be a ghost, too. She started to float and moan. The ghost was so surprised to see another ghost that it forgot all about Lancelottie. It turned and floated away.
The third creature was a witch with a black hat and a crooked nose. Lancelottie had never seen a witch before, either. She was scared again, but she didn't let her fear get the best of her.
Lancelottie pretended to be a witch, too. She started to cackle and stir a pot of bubbling potion. The witch was so surprised to see another witch that she forgot all about Lancelottie. It turned and cackled away.
Lancelottie had outsmarted the three spooky creatures. She was proud of herself for being so brave and clever. She knew that she could overcome any challenge, no matter how scary it seemed.
The next time you're feeling scared, remember Lancelottie and her three scares. With a little bit of wit and courage, you can overcome any challenge, too.
