Review: Holding by Graham Norton
Graham Norton's debut novel, Holding, is a gripping and emotionally resonant story about family, love, and loss.
The novel is set in a small Irish village, and the story revolves around the disappearance of a young boy named Frankie.
Norton does an excellent job of creating a sense of place in the novel. The village is described in vivid detail, and the reader can easily imagine themselves walking the streets or sitting in the local pub.
The characters in the novel are also well-developed. Sergeant PJ Collins is a complex and flawed character, and Norton does an excellent job of exploring his motivations and inner demons.
The plot of the novel is suspenseful and engaging. The reader is kept guessing until the very end, and the resolution is both satisfying and heartbreaking.
Overall, Holding is a highly recommended novel. It is a story that will stay with you long after you finish reading it.
